Future of iPhone Apps

Currently the iPhone apps are standalone, which means a FaceBook or Google app or a video recorder (on Jailbreak phone) work in silos - they cannot latch onto some other application or features of the phone as an add-on.

Imagine...

1. How nice to have an iPhone app that would see the last number you dialed & suggests you to save into your contacts, if that does not exists already.
2. Adding MMS capability to SMS, sadly Apple has still not launched it

Time to think ahead!
